Dunno on the Moon (Russian: Незнайка на Луне) is a fairytale novel by Nikolay Nosov from the series about the adventures of Dunno with elements of science fiction. This is the final part of a trilogy of Nosov’s novels, consisting of the works The Adventures of Dunno and His Friends (1953-1954), Dunno in the Sun City (1958), and Dunno on the Moon (1964-1965).

For the first time novel, Dunno on the Moon was published in the magazine Family and School (rus. Семья и школа) in the years 1964–1965. A separate edition of the book was published by Detskaya Literatura in 1965.

In 1969 Nosov was awarded the RSFSR State Prize commemorated to Nadezhda Krupskaya for his trilogy of works about Dunno. In 1997–1999 at the studio FAF Entertainment on the script of Vladimir Antonovich Golovanov and Sergei Ivanov based on the novel was shot eponymous cartoon.

Plot[edit]

Beginning[edit]

Even before the events described in the book, Doono with Fuksiya and Selyodochka from Sun City visited the Moon and brought out the moon mineral with extraordinary properties (later called lunit). After a number of events it turns out that its rapprochement with the magnet gives the effect of local weightlessness that can allow to send to the moon a spaceship with large crew and supplies on board. As Doono hopes, there is intelligent life over there, which due to the loss of the atmosphere has moved inside of the Moon. The cosmonauts take the seeds of terrestrial cultivated plants with them. However, the exclusion of Dunno from the flight for stealing the weightlessness device from the Pavilion and careless handling of it, which nearly led to its loss, brings to these plans unexpected adjustments. Dunno instigates Roly-Poly, who was also not included into the crew, to fly as stowaways. The day before the launch they snuck into the rocket. At night before the flight Roly-Poly has changed his mind, but instead of getting out of the rocket accidentally launched it into flight in automatic mode.

After the moon landing Dunno and Roly-Poly come out in space suits for a walk to a nearby mountain. In a cave Dunno falls into an icy tunnel leading down to the internal cavity of the moon and slides down, apparently sitting down, thereon in the sublunary space. Going down on a parafoil, he finds on the inner core of the moon (which the locals call the Earth, too) with the civilization of the same shorties, but living according to the laws of capitalism. The size of lunar plants, in contrast to terrestrial, is proportional to the height of the shorties so they appear to be undersized for Dunno. Roly-Poly, after losing Dunno, runs in panic back to the rocket.

Being on the moon, Dunno, unfamiliar with the concepts of money (lunar currency — «ferting» (author-derived from British «farthing») consisting of a hundred of «santik» (author-derived from French «centime»)) and private property is always getting into unpleasant situations. At first, he appears in the garden of Mr. Klops and eats his raspberries, that’s why he was grabbed and hounded by order of Klops as a thief. Dunno, fortunately, managed to escape over the fence, while he did not understand what was, in fact, his fault. Then he was taken to jail for refusing to pay in a street cafe, where during registration through a system of identification using simplified Bertillon method he was mistakenly identified as the famous gangster Pretty Boy (Красавчик), as a result the police were extorting a bribe, and Dunno’s refusal and complete misunderstanding of the situation were regarded as intractability and he was placed into a prison cell. There he met unemployed shorty Kozlik and small crook Miga. Miga believed the story of Dunno about the seeds of giant plants, helped him to avoid a scuffle in the cell, and before the release of Dunno from prison gave him a letter to his friend, arms dealer Zhulio.

After leaving the jail Dunno and Kozlik come to Zhulio. He makes a bail for Miga and all four are discussing the prospects for growing terrestrial plants on the Moon, the seeds of which were left in the rocket on the Moon surface. To raise funds for the construction of an aircraft capable to reach the outer Moon surface, they start a joint-stock company called «The Society of Giant Plants», whose shares are secured by future shares of prospective seeds (i.e., at the beginning of the company’s activities it is actually a consumer cooperative). In doing so they promote the fact of Dunno’s arrival as an cosmonaut in mass media and using methods of outdoor advertising (it was especially effective in the countryside, whose residents, as a rule, do not buy newspapers). Gradually the shares are selling. Their activities are disturbing the local monopolists, because appearance of giant plants threatens them with devastation. Spruts, their leader, the largest landowner and owner of the textile and sugar factories, takes measures to collapse their company. He bribes Miga and Zhulio, and they run with the cash received for the shares, leaving Dunno and Kozlik to their fate. At the same time fragmentary allusions to the fraudulent nature of the company, launched by the editor of Spruts-owned newspaper, Grizzle, lead to a panic among small shareholders. Remaining unaware about what was happening Dunno and Kozlik are forced to flee, and go to San Komarik. Not finding there Miga and Zhulio, they have found themselves on the dark side of life. They wander, with hunger and disasters in flophouses without any work.

Meanwhile, stock traders Zhmurik, Teftel and Hanakonda are buying huge batch of the Society’s shares on an upward trend, and are taking steps to rectify the situation of their cheapness by entering an information war in the media against Spruts’ newspapers. Skuperfild, the owner of the pasta factory, being in the dark about the backstage war of financial speculators, spent almost all capital buying Society’s shares, but Spruts deals a decisive blow: he published the documentary details about the collapse of the company. All shares have depreciated at one moment, and as a result Skuperfild was on the verge of bankruptcy. In desperation, he reduced his workers’ pay down to half — initially workers threaten to strike, and then have declare it. Then Skuperfild decides to recruit new workers among the inhabitants of flophouses in San Komarik. Among those hired were Dunno and Kozlik. Cars with new employees have arrived in Brehenville. According to the Skuperfild’s plan, they should immediately get to work. But striking regular workers becomes aware of this trick. The strikers organize a defense — in cold blood they push newcomers away from Skuperfild’s factory and begin to frantically chase them all over the city, as a result unfortunate Dunno and Kozlik are thrown into the river. Dunno lost shoes, Kozlik lost hat. To earn some money, Kozlik takes Dunno’s hat and goes to the city, Dunno remains under a bridge. There he soon met a group of other homeless. Kozlik failed to scrape up a santik in a strange city, he came back with nothing. They dined a piece of bread, that one of the tramps (Bubble) gave them and stay with tramps overnight. Police shut down lights on the embankment and arrested whole company in the middle of the night, except Bubble, who was able to take out one of the attackers with his own stun baton and escaped down the river on an inflatable rubber pillow. In the end Dunno and Kozlik sent to The Fools’ Island for the sleeping outside and for not having boots and hat. On Fools’ Island lunar shorties in course of time turn into rams exposed to harmful air.

Roly-Poly, after abandoning Dunno to his fate, is trying to stifle the voice of conscience with continuous absorption of food. Eventually, he ate a year’s supply of food in the rocket in four days. Deciding to go in search of food, he returns to the cave, falls inside of the Moon, but as a result of rotation of the «inner Moon» found himself in another place. Unlike Dunno, Roly-Poly, as a more cautious and practical shorty, quickly learns the essence of commodity-money relations. In addition, he gets lucky from the outset and he opens a new market niche — sale of salt. He quickly gets richer, hires workers for the salt production, but soon go bankrupt, unable to compete with owners of large factories, led by Dracula — the owner of the coast with raw salt. After the bankruptcy Roly-Poly becomes «Twister» — a worker at an amusement park, actuating rides. After some time he joins the «Society of Free Twisters» (Trade union analogue).

Expedition from Earth[edit]

Doono with friends found disappearance of the rocket with Dunno and Roly-Poly on board, and organize a rescue mission. Having built a new multistage rocket FaH («Fuchsia and Herring»), 12 shorties led by Doono go to the moon. Having found big rocket (called «DaR» ( «Dunno and Roly-Poly»)) empty, they go in search of Dunno and Roly-Poly and discover the icy corridor leading to the inner cavity of the Moon. Having discovered large deposits of lunit and antilunit (Mineral which levels effect of the lunit, with a smaller radius of action than lunit), Doono and his companions go down in a rocket on the ice corridor.

However, lunar astronomers employed by Spruts inform him about the arrival of the new rocket. Therefore, while approaching city of Fantomas rocket was fired upon and Doono has been forced down in the countryside. Police raid on earthlings ends in complete failure after the use of weightlessness by Doono.

Earthlings have founded the «Space City», come into contact with the villagers, give them the seeds of giant plants, as well as supplying all of them weightlessness devices and antilunit. Armed with this «terrible power» — weightlessness, they overthrow the capitalists. Roly-Poly came out to another «Twisters» during all of these events and tell them that he’s alien. They sent him on train to Fantomas, from where he reached the «Space City». Roly-Poly offered to search for Dunno on Fool’s island. Earthlings arrived in Los Paganos and seized one of the ships. With the help of the captain Rumbik, familiar to Roly-Poly, characters get to the Fool’s island and rescued Dunno and Kozlik, who already begun to turn into a ram, and other doomed shorties. Dunno offers to bury weightlessness device in the middle of Fool’s island so harmful air, converting shorties to rams, went up and the fresh sea air would start come to the island. But it didn’t come to that. (You never know where it will go with the wind). Characters come back with Dunno and Kozlik to the «Space City». Dunno feels bad. Dr. Pillman diagnosed him with an acute nostalgia and noted the need for urgent return to Earth. Despite the sabotage of Spruts and Zhulio, who blew up the FaH rocket, earthlings fly away using propellers at spacesuits and the device of weightlessness. On the surface of the Moon, they boarded the DaR rocket and made their way back to Earth. Once home, Dunno immediately healed, and declared that «now we can go somewhere on a journey again.»

Lunar capitalism[edit]

The novel was written as a satire on Western capitalism of that time. Some things are too exaggerated, some things, on the contrary, remained to this day. According to the writer’s grandson, Igor Nosov, Dunno on the Moon was ahead of the time, becoming a factual description of post-Soviet Russia, describing its inherent «wild capitalism». The following are the main features of the Lunar Society:

• Splicing of the oligarchy and the government. In fact, the political power in the novel is not shown, and the police directly obey orders of monopolists. It is even said that «The Rich hide behind laws they made up».
• Persecution of trade unions and workers’ organizations.
• Great role of fictitious capital (see exchange trading of shares of companies, including already non-existent).
• Almost complete monopolization of the business — mainly in the form of syndicates (see the description of the operation of «bredlams»).
• Certain features peculiar to pre-capitalist formations (monetary sharecropping in the extraction of salt on the coast belonging to the landlord Dracula).
• Fighting both economic (dumping — see the resolution of the «Salt bredlam» in regard to small producers of salt) and non-economic methods including criminal. (Forced upon false-bankruptcy of «The Society of Giant Plants»; Dubs proposal to hire assassins to «remove» Zhulio and Miga; gasoline traders’ suit against tire manufacturer Poodle after a stop in Davilon all traffic due to the cutting of tires on all cars after the letter saying that the alleged bank robbery money are hidden away in car tires).
• Significant unemployment, including congestive.
• Widespread presence of the day labor.
• An extensive network of primitive uncomfortable flophouses («Dead End» type of hotels) in all cities.
• Providing of budgetary services on a «payment on the fact» scheme («Economical» hotel).
• Draconian legislation against vagrancy and pauperism: anyone who spends the night on the street or walks without shoes or a hat becomes a target for the police and should be sent to the Fools’ Island.
• Great susceptibility of the population to advertising (see gingerbread ads of the «Dawn» candy factory, whose poster Dunno, the space traveler, was holding, these gingerbread originated excess demand and shops managed to sell even the stale goods; everyone’s desire to be treated only at Dr. Injector, after he had personally examined Dunno, the guest from another planet, in front of the TV viewers)
• Product placement of Spruts’ products, such as foods, in newspapers owned by Spruts (particularly in the «Davilon Humoresques»).
• Unfair advertising (e.g. «hidden fees» in the «Economical» hotel).
• Crowd manipulation through the mass media (see campaign against the existence of the seeds of the giant plants, dependence of stock prices on what is written in newspapers, advertising and anti-advertising).
• Kickbacks — when Spruts invites members of the «Big Bredlam» to chip in together on 3 million to bribe Miga and Zhulio. Spruts collected from the monopolists 3 million and left to himself 1 million (initially intending to leave 2 million).
• Conspicuous consumption of both rich and poor (see description of the lifestyle of a soap factory owner Gryazing; purchase of a car on a loan by Kozlik); rich people are not engaged in capital increase, but in irrational squandering the money, breaking furniture for their own entertainment or doing other meaningless waste of money (dog restaurants, hair salons, etc.).
• Primitive cinema, television and painting. Abstract scribble masquerading as art. Movies are exclusively about violent clashes between police and criminals, mass brawls, deafening firefights, dizzying pursuits (in short only thrills and no benefit either for the mind or soul). This was even more distinctive on the Fool’s island, where movies in cinema were said to be even more primitive than elsewhere.
• Undemanding, immoral and often violent public entertainment (see «Funny Puppet Show»).
• Censorship of the media.
• Neglect of fundamental scientific research that does not produce direct benefits.
• Extensive corruption of both police and judiciary, bribery and impunity for the rich (see extortion of bribe from Dunno by Migl, recognition of total bribe of police by judge Vrigl, «Mutual Aid Society», undivided executive and judicial powers).
• Free arms trading, including auto firearms and even artillery (a machine gun and a cannon in the warehouse of the «Store of different-sized goods»), as well as free trade of police and gangster armor: police uniforms, batons, lock picks, masks, crowbars, knives for hacking safes and so on.
• The interest of the police is only in the fight against gangsters, but not in the elimination of gangsterism («if there are no bandits, the police become unnecessary and policemen will be without a job»). This explains the existence of free arms trade and why the police turns a blind eye to that.
• Countering to strikebreaking by supporters of the Workers’ self-management in the Skuperfield’s factory.
• Introduction of elements of the state of emergency with the appearance of a threat to the ruling regime.
• Police brutality — The policemen were portrayed as feared and brutal men who always dealt with others in threatening or violent manner and had no issue with excessively using their stun batons. When «bald headed» shorty accused them of stealing a large sum of money in a bank robbery, they resorted to mass arrests of bald headed shorties. They were also willing to immediately use lethal force on Donno and other members of Lunar Expedition, when they refused to leave. The police also handed out corporal punishments (beating and electrical shocks) for minor crimes, as many criminals, including Dunno, were thought to let themselves be jailed on purpose to get access to free food, shelter and hygiene.

In the satirical purpose the names of the rich and their minions and most of the names of lunar cities are derived from words with a negative shade (Grabenberg — «Stealberg», Brehenville — «Liarville», the cities Los Svinos — from «svinya» (pig, swine), Los Paganos — from «poganyi» (filthy); Spruts (from «sprut» — giant octopus), Gryazing («gryaz'» — dirt), Dryaning («dryan'» — trash), Skuperfield («skuperdyai» — niggard), judge Vrigl («vrat'» — tell lies) etc.). The novel also used the names of famous villains (Dracula the salt magnate, Fantomas city).

Spruts, their leader, the largest landowner and owner of the textile and sugar factories, takes measures to collapse their company. He bribes Miga and Zhulio, and they run with the cash received for the shares, leaving Dunno and Kozlik to their fate. At the same time fragmentary allusions to the fraudulent nature of the company, launched by the editor of Spruts-owned newspaper, Grizzle, lead to a panic among small shareholders. Remaining unaware about what was happening Dunno and Kozlik are forced to flee, and go to San Komarik. Not finding there Miga and Zhulio, they have found themselves on the dark side of life. They wander, with hunger and disasters in flophouses without any work.

Meanwhile, stock traders Zhmurik, Teftel and Hanakonda are buying huge batch of the Society’s shares on an upward trend, and are taking steps to rectify the situation of their cheapness by entering an information war in the media against Spruts’ newspapers. Skuperfild, the owner of the pasta factory, being in the dark about the backstage war of financial speculators, spent almost all capital buying Society’s shares, but Spruts deals a decisive blow: he published the documentary details about the collapse of the company. All shares have depreciated at one moment, and as a result Skuperfild was on the verge of bankruptcy. In desperation, he reduced his workers’ pay down to half — initially workers threaten to strike, and then have declare it. Then Skuperfild decides to recruit new workers among the inhabitants of flophouses in San Komarik. Among those hired were Dunno and Kozlik. Cars with new employees have arrived in Brehenville. According to the Skuperfild’s plan, they should immediately get to work. But striking regular workers becomes aware of this trick. The strikers organize a defense — in cold blood they push newcomers away from Skuperfild’s factory and begin to frantically chase them all over the city, as a result unfortunate Dunno and Kozlik are thrown into the river. Dunno lost shoes, Kozlik lost hat. To earn some money, Kozlik takes Dunno’s hat and goes to the city, Dunno remains under a bridge. There he soon met a group of other homeless. Kozlik failed to scrape up a santik in a strange city, he came back with nothing. They dined a piece of bread, that one of the tramps (Bubble) gave them and stay with tramps overnight. Police shut down lights on the embankment and arrested whole company in the middle of the night, except Bubble, who was able to take out one of the attackers with his own stun baton and escaped down the river on an inflatable rubber pillow. In the end Dunno and Kozlik sent to The Fools’ Island for the sleeping outside and for not having boots and hat. On Fools’ Island lunar shorties in course of time turn into rams exposed to harmful air.

Roly-Poly, after abandoning Dunno to his fate, is trying to stifle the voice of conscience with continuous absorption of food. Eventually, he ate a year’s supply of food in the rocket in four days. Deciding to go in search of food, he returns to the cave, falls inside of the Moon, but as a result of rotation of the «inner Moon» found himself in another place. Unlike Dunno, Roly-Poly, as a more cautious and practical shorty, quickly learns the essence of commodity-money relations. In addition, he gets lucky from the outset and he opens a new market niche — sale of salt. He quickly gets richer, hires workers for the salt production, but soon go bankrupt, unable to compete with owners of large factories, led by Dracula — the owner of the coast with raw salt. After the bankruptcy Roly-Poly becomes «Twister» — a worker at an amusement park, actuating rides. After some time he joins the «Society of Free Twisters» (Trade union analogue).

Expedition from Earth[edit]

Doono with friends found disappearance of the rocket with Dunno and Roly-Poly on board, and organize a rescue mission. Having built a new multistage rocket FaH («Fuchsia and Herring»), 12 shorties led by Doono go to the moon. Having found big rocket (called «DaR» ( «Dunno and Roly-Poly»)) empty, they go in search of Dunno and Roly-Poly and discover the icy corridor leading to the inner cavity of the Moon. Having discovered large deposits of lunit and antilunit (Mineral which levels effect of the lunit, with a smaller radius of action than lunit), Doono and his companions go down in a rocket on the ice corridor.

However, lunar astronomers employed by Spruts inform him about the arrival of the new rocket. Therefore, while approaching city of Fantomas rocket was fired upon and Doono has been forced down in the countryside. Police raid on earthlings ends in complete failure after the use of weightlessness by Doono.

Earthlings have founded the «Space City», come into contact with the villagers, give them the seeds of giant plants, as well as supplying all of them weightlessness devices and antilunit. Armed with this «terrible power» — weightlessness, they overthrow the capitalists. Roly-Poly came out to another «Twisters» during all of these events and tell them that he’s alien. They sent him on train to Fantomas, from where he reached the «Space City». Roly-Poly offered to search for Dunno on Fool’s island. Earthlings arrived in Los Paganos and seized one of the ships. With the help of the captain Rumbik, familiar to Roly-Poly, characters get to the Fool’s island and rescued Dunno and Kozlik, who already begun to turn into a ram, and other doomed shorties. Dunno offers to bury weightlessness device in the middle of Fool’s island so harmful air, converting shorties to rams, went up and the fresh sea air would start come to the island. But it didn’t come to that. (You never know where it will go with the wind). Characters come back with Dunno and Kozlik to the «Space City». Dunno feels bad. Dr. Pillman diagnosed him with an acute nostalgia and noted the need for urgent return to Earth. Despite the sabotage of Spruts and Zhulio, who blew up the FaH rocket, earthlings fly away using propellers at spacesuits and the device of weightlessness. On the surface of the Moon, they boarded the DaR rocket and made their way back to Earth. Once home, Dunno immediately healed, and declared that «now we can go somewhere on a journey again.»

Lunar capitalism[edit]

The novel was written as a satire on Western capitalism of that time. Some things are too exaggerated, some things, on the contrary, remained to this day. According to the writer’s grandson, Igor Nosov, Dunno on the Moon was ahead of the time, becoming a factual description of post-Soviet Russia, describing its inherent «wild capitalism». The following are the main features of the Lunar Society:

• Splicing of the oligarchy and the government. In fact, the political power in the novel is not shown, and the police directly obey orders of monopolists. It is even said that «The Rich hide behind laws they made up».
• Persecution of trade unions and workers’ organizations.
• Great role of fictitious capital (see exchange trading of shares of companies, including already non-existent).
• Almost complete monopolization of the business — mainly in the form of syndicates (see the description of the operation of «bredlams»).
• Certain features peculiar to pre-capitalist formations (monetary sharecropping in the extraction of salt on the coast belonging to the landlord Dracula).
• Fighting both economic (dumping — see the resolution of the «Salt bredlam» in regard to small producers of salt) and non-economic methods including criminal. (Forced upon false-bankruptcy of «The Society of Giant Plants»; Dubs proposal to hire assassins to «remove» Zhulio and Miga; gasoline traders’ suit against tire manufacturer Poodle after a stop in Davilon all traffic due to the cutting of tires on all cars after the letter saying that the alleged bank robbery money are hidden away in car tires).
• Significant unemployment, including congestive.
• Widespread presence of the day labor.
• An extensive network of primitive uncomfortable flophouses («Dead End» type of hotels) in all cities.
• Providing of budgetary services on a «payment on the fact» scheme («Economical» hotel).
• Draconian legislation against vagrancy and pauperism: anyone who spends the night on the street or walks without shoes or a hat becomes a target for the police and should be sent to the Fools’ Island.
• Great susceptibility of the population to advertising (see gingerbread ads of the «Dawn» candy factory, whose poster Dunno, the space traveler, was holding, these gingerbread originated excess demand and shops managed to sell even the stale goods; everyone’s desire to be treated only at Dr. Injector, after he had personally examined Dunno, the guest from another planet, in front of the TV viewers)
• Product placement of Spruts’ products, such as foods, in newspapers owned by Spruts (particularly in the «Davilon Humoresques»).
• Unfair advertising (e.g. «hidden fees» in the «Economical» hotel).
• Crowd manipulation through the mass media (see campaign against the existence of the seeds of the giant plants, dependence of stock prices on what is written in newspapers, advertising and anti-advertising).
• Kickbacks — when Spruts invites members of the «Big Bredlam» to chip in together on 3 million to bribe Miga and Zhulio. Spruts collected from the monopolists 3 million and left to himself 1 million (initially intending to leave 2 million).
• Conspicuous consumption of both rich and poor (see description of the lifestyle of a soap factory owner Gryazing; purchase of a car on a loan by Kozlik); rich people are not engaged in capital increase, but in irrational squandering the money, breaking furniture for their own entertainment or doing other meaningless waste of money (dog restaurants, hair salons, etc.).
• Primitive cinema, television and painting. Abstract scribble masquerading as art. Movies are exclusively about violent clashes between police and criminals, mass brawls, deafening firefights, dizzying pursuits (in short only thrills and no benefit either for the mind or soul). This was even more distinctive on the Fool’s island, where movies in cinema were said to be even more primitive than elsewhere.
• Undemanding, immoral and often violent public entertainment (see «Funny Puppet Show»).
• Censorship of the media.
• Neglect of fundamental scientific research that does not produce direct benefits.
• Extensive corruption of both police and judiciary, bribery and impunity for the rich (see extortion of bribe from Dunno by Migl, recognition of total bribe of police by judge Vrigl, «Mutual Aid Society», undivided executive and judicial powers).
• Free arms trading, including auto firearms and even artillery (a machine gun and a cannon in the warehouse of the «Store of different-sized goods»), as well as free trade of police and gangster armor: police uniforms, batons, lock picks, masks, crowbars, knives for hacking safes and so on.
• The interest of the police is only in the fight against gangsters, but not in the elimination of gangsterism («if there are no bandits, the police become unnecessary and policemen will be without a job»). This explains the existence of free arms trade and why the police turns a blind eye to that.
• Countering to strikebreaking by supporters of the Workers’ self-management in the Skuperfield’s factory.
• Introduction of elements of the state of emergency with the appearance of a threat to the ruling regime.
• Police brutality — The policemen were portrayed as feared and brutal men who always dealt with others in threatening or violent manner and had no issue with excessively using their stun batons. When «bald headed» shorty accused them of stealing a large sum of money in a bank robbery, they resorted to mass arrests of bald headed shorties. They were also willing to immediately use lethal force on Donno and other members of Lunar Expedition, when they refused to leave. The police also handed out corporal punishments (beating and electrical shocks) for minor crimes, as many criminals, including Dunno, were thought to let themselves be jailed on purpose to get access to free food, shelter and hygiene.

In the satirical purpose the names of the rich and their minions and most of the names of lunar cities are derived from words with a negative shade (Grabenberg — «Stealberg», Brehenville — «Liarville», the cities Los Svinos — from «svinya» (pig, swine), Los Paganos — from «poganyi» (filthy); Spruts (from «sprut» — giant octopus), Gryazing («gryaz'» — dirt), Dryaning («dryan'» — trash), Skuperfield («skuperdyai» — niggard), judge Vrigl («vrat'» — tell lies) etc.). The novel also used the names of famous villains (Dracula the salt magnate, Fantomas city).

Сюжет

Начало

В предыстории главных событий Знайка вместе с Фуксией и Селёдочкой из Солнечного Города путешествует на Луну в многоступенчатой ракете. Из путешествия он привозит лунный минерал с необычными свойствами, называет его лунитом. После ряда событий оказывается, что его сближение с магнитом даёт эффект антигравитации, что позволило бы отправить к Луне космический корабль с большим экипажем и припасами на борту. Однако отстранение Незнайки от полёта за шутки с прибором невесомости вносит в эти планы неожиданные коррективы. Незнайка подговаривает Пончика, также не включённого в экипаж, к полёту «зайцем». Однако ночью перед полётом раздумавший лететь Пончик вместо того, чтобы выбраться из ракеты, случайно запускает её в полёт в автоматическом режиме.

После прилунения Незнайка и Пончик выходят в скафандрах на прогулку к ближайшей горе. В пещере Незнайка попадает в ледяной туннель, ведущий вниз, к внутренней полости Луны, и проваливается туда. Спустившись на парашюте, он обнаруживает на внутреннем ядре Луны цивилизацию таких же коротышек, но живущую по законам капитализма. Размер растений, в отличие от земных, пропорционален росту коротышек, так что героям они кажутся карликовыми. Пончик после уничтожения съестных припасов ракеты в поисках Незнайки попадает туда же, но в другой город.

Незнайка и Пончик в капитализме

С первых же шагов в капитализме незнакомый с деньгами («лунное» название — фертинги) Незнайка попадает в неприятные ситуации. Сначала его пытаются травить собаками по указанию владельца сада, куда он спустился на парашюте. Затем его за отказ платить в ресторане отвозят в каталажку. Там над ним пытаются издеваться уголовники, но находятся и защитники. В частности, он становится другом Козлика. Кроме этого, его рассказ о гигантских земных растениях привлекает внимание известного афериста Миги. Тот помогает ему, спрятав шляпу, а перед выходом Незнайки из тюрьмы даёт ему записку к своему приятелю, торговцу оружием Жулио.

После выхода из каталажки Незнайка и Козлик приходят к Жулио. Тот вносит за Мигу залог, и все четверо обсуждают перспективы выращивания на Луне земных растений, семена которых остались в ракете на поверхности Луны. Для построения летательного аппарата, способного достичь внешней поверхности Луны, они основывают акционерное Общество гигантских растений. При этом они в начале раскручивают факт прибытия Незнайки как космонавта в СМИ. Постепенно акции распродаются. Их деятельность тревожит местных монополистов, для которых появление гигантских растений поставило бы крест на их прибылях, и их глава Спрутс предпринимает меры для развала Общества. Он подкупает Мигу и Жулио, и те бегут с вырученными за акции деньгами. Незнайка и Козлик вынуждены бежать, затем скитаются и бедствуют по ночлежкам без работы.

Пончик, как старый скопидом и более осторожный коротышка, быстро усваивает суть товарно-денежных отношений. Кроме этого, ему с самого начала везёт и он открывает новую нишу рынка — продажу соли. После этого он богатеет, нанимает рабочих для соляного производства. Процветание Пончика и его последователей-кустарей кончается после того, как на этот рынок выходит монополист залежей соли — Дракула. Он и другие крупные соляные фабриканты снижают цены до демпинговых, и все мелкие производители соли, включая Пончика, разоряются. После этого Пончик становится рабочим.

Описание лунного капитализма — это острая политическая сатира, представление США в черном цвете — цвете пропаганды тех лет.

По словам внука Николай Носова, Игоря Носова, «Незнайка на Луне» опередил время, став фактически описанием постперестроечных годов России, описав присущий им «дикий капитализм».^[1]

Экспедиция с Земли

После отлёта Незнайки и Пончика на корабле НиП Знайка с друзьями организует спасательную экспедицию на многоступенчатой ракете ФиС в составе 13 коротышек. Найдя большую ракету опустевшей, они идут на поиски Незнайки и Пончика и обнаруживают ледяной коридор вниз, к внутренней полости Луны. Найдя по пути большие залежи минералов, Знайка и его спутники полностью овладевают управлением невесомостью, после чего спускают маленькую ракету вниз.

До их прилёта, однако, Спрутсом организуется наблюдение за окрестностями Луны с помощью лунных учёных. При подлёте к городу Фантомас ракету обстреливают, поэтому ракета садится за городом, где никого нет. Налёт полиции на землян кончается полной неудачей после применения Знайкой невесомости.

Земляне находят контакт с беднотой, и те с их помощью свергают капиталистов. Устанавливается социализм. Пончик во время всех этих событий сам приезжает к ракете, а Незнайку спасают уже на острове, где бездомных лунных коротышек постепенно превращают в баранов. Он чувствует себя плохо, Пилюлькин опознаёт у него острую ностальгию и констатирует необходимость срочного возвращения на Землю. Несмотря на вредительство Спрутса и Жулио, взорвавших малую ракету, земляне улетают с помощью прибора невесомости, на поверхности Луны пересаживаются в большую ракету и летят к Земле, где Незнайке сразу становится лучше.

Незнайка на Луне — учебник экономики (и немножко физики), написанный с марксистских позиций реально доставляющим детским писателем Николаем Носовым в жанре Science Fiction. Фактически, книга о том, что коммунизм возможен… если прилетят инопланетяне и построят его.

Завязка[править]

За выдающиеся заслуги в области народного хозяйства некоторые коротышки из Цветочного города должны быть награждены космической миссией на Луну. Однако главный персонаж книги, некий Незнайка, своими эпатажными и одиозными выходками неиллюзорно подмочил (в прямом смысле, едва не утонув вместе с ценной аппаратурой) собственную репутацию в глазах начальника экспедиции, а таких не берут в космонавты. Огорчённый статусом «невыездного» (учитывая специфику — «невылетного») Незнайка ничтоже сумняшеся решает таки добиться желанной цели и любой ценой произвести высадку на естественный спутник Земли. Поразмыслив немного, он выбирает единственный годный вариант — заранее тайком проникнуть на борт космического судна и обнаружить своё присутствие только после запуска.

Незнайка, договорившись со своим приятелем Пончиком (ибо было ссыкотно отправляться в путешествие одному), пробирается на ракету, которую до этого специально изучил. Уже на борту звездолёта Пончик подсирает и решает героически съебать в туман, но случайно вместо двери активирует хитрую систему автопилота, и… друзья самозапускаются на Луну.

Прибыв на Луну, друзья отправляются на прогулку, в ходе которой Незнайка проваливается в кратер и попадает на населённую часть Луны — её внутреннее ядро, а Пончик… да-да — снова героически ударяет по тапкам. Позже он, изничтожив по причине стресса в три дня годовой запас провианта на борту звездолёта, тоже попадает в лапы дикого капитализма. Вот тут и начинается самая мякотка.

Развитие сюжета[править]

Коротышки приземляются на внутреннюю Луну и оказываются в государстве лунатиков. На этом расслабляющий SF пока что приостанавливается, и начинается суровая правда жизни, в которую искусно вплетается интенсивный курс политэкономии. Из него просвещённый читатель может узнать:

• Как построены товарно-денежные отношения в целом;
• Как выстраивать взаимоотношения с сокамерниками в местах лишения свободы (любому свободному пока предпринимателю не помешает);
• Что такое акционерное общество, как грамотно напилить собственный бизнес, прое-бизнес, нае-бизнес, финансовую пирамиду, а затем вовремя выйти из игры;
• Что такое картели, тресты, монополии, понятие демпинга и недобросовестной конкуренции;
• Как происходят торги на биржах, кто такие брокеры;
• Что такое забастовка и кто такие штрейкбрехеры;
• Что такое «автокредит» и чем он опасен;
• Как работают демократические свободные СМИ, реклама, продакт-плейсмент;
• Как работают неверные менты;
• Как работают лоукостеры, на примере гостиницы «Экономическая»; менеджмент авиакомпании «Победа» явно учился у Носова;
• Особенности индустрии развлечений, и как любому желающему можно просто и без излишних усилий превратиться в барана в буквальном смысле.
• Не забыто и так называемое современное искусство, как дань моде и способ заработка для безблагодатных живописцев (вспомните о беседе Незнайки и Козлика о «картинах-загогулинах»)

А также over 9000 прочих необходимых терминов и понятий, особенно если институтский учебник почитать лень, а сессия неумолимо надвигается.

К слову, в отличие от МММ, Общество Гигантских Растений было основано на реалистичной технологии, но зарубленной конкурентами. И вообще, строго говоря, было ПИФом, а не акционерным обществом.

Попав из уютного социализма Цветочного города прямиком в капиталистическую реальность, наши герои не унывают. Пончик практически в классическом виде реализовывает «Американскую мечту» — высадившись на берег чужой и незнакомой страны буквально без штанов, ухитряется в ближайшее же время неслабо подняться на торговле белым порошком — кокаином солью, которую до него лунатики в пищу вообще не добавляли. Незнайка (правда, после нескольких досадных фэйлов) устраивается работать зицпредседателем ОАО и становится телезвездой. Увы, конец немного предсказуем, ибо невозможно стать в этой системе успешным бизнесменом, не пройдя предварительно трудных уроков эпохи поздней перестройки и лихих девяностых. Незнайка, наивно веривший в чистоту помыслов окружавших его мавроди, оказался без гроша в кармане перед разъярённой толпой обманутых вкладчиков. Правда, первоначально мавроди очень даже готовы были заработать на растениях, однако беседа с засланцем местного Абрамовича быстро, решительно изменила их взгляды на этот счет. Воспылавший праведным гневом автор снес одного из них из дальнейшей истории нахрен, а второго в самом конце заставил взорвать ракету, ибо хороших капиталистов не бывает. Пончика, так и не успевшего догадаться о вторых значениях слов «крыша» и «откат», красиво бортанули местные деляги. Правда, Пончик и сам был хорош — хорохорился до последнего, поддерживая заведомо убыточное предприятие, пока лавочке совсем пиздец не пришёл, а мог бы обменять соляной заводик на пай в итоговом концерне и продолжать пинать балду, но уже на дивиденды. Всё будет в этом романе — и падение Пончика до работы хомячком в колесе, и мытарства Незнайки сотоварищи по ночлежкам, бомжевание под мостами вплоть до окончательного, былинного фэйла — путешествия с Козликом на загадочный Остров Дураков.

Развязка[править]

К счастью, «русские на войне своих не бросают». Начальник карательного корпуса коротышек с командой осатанелых отморозков таки прибывает на Луну следующим же рейсом и лихо выпиливает тамошнюю порочную капиталистическую систему, попутно насаждая квадратно-гнездовым методом такие достижения стран победившего социализма, как совхозы, обкомы, соцсоревнования, политинформации, профсоюзные путёвки в санатории Сан-Комарика и даже гигантские растения. Незнайку спасают от быстро усугубляющегося ФГМ, вовремя эвакуировав его с Острова Дураков, выдают легкие пиздюли по итогам его деятельности, причем только Незнайке: Пончик, как крыса-кун, про своё особое участие в проекте молчит и валит всё на приятеля.

Казалось бы, до полной победы сил бобра над ослом осталось немногое — напилить в столице под названием Давилон собственный ВДНХ с непременной статуей Рабочего и Колхозницы, но внезапно над Незнайкой нависает новая смертельная угроза — ностальгия. По понятным причинам обычное эмигрантское лекарство (флакон «Столичной» в брайтонском кабаке под хриплый вокал Шуфутинского) не проканает, поэтому принимается решение срочно возвращаться домой, на социалистическую Родину. Что и реализуется незамедлительно под бурные аплодисменты лунатиков (пообещавших далее самостоятельно следовать заветам Знайки-Ильича), переходящие в овации… а также несмотря на то, что по пути у главгероя фиксируется чуть ли не клиническая смерть.

Резюме[править]

Трилогия Носова — это одна из главных сказок Советского Союза, книга, которая «растёт вместе с читателем» и, соответственно, ориентирована на его рост.

Уникальное сочетание в третьей книге живого экшена и нескучной, пусть местами наивной, космической фантастики с высокой степенью информативности выгодно выделяют данное произведение из общей массы безблагодатных творений в детской (и не только) литературе.

Экранизации[править]

По мотивам книги был создан полнометражный мультфильм, многими олдфагами расценённый как опошливание достойного романа (с другой стороны, это единственный качественный полнометражный мультфильм, выпущенный в РФ в 90-е). Примечательно также то, что целиком мультфильм вышел не сразу: в 1997 показывалась по частям первая половина, а вторую доделали лишь к 1999.

Сюжет местами полностью отходит далеко от оригинала. Например, стоит задуматься, почему из всех проявлений капитализма показаны лишь злополучные дымящие заводы? Кажется, что стоит их остановить, тут же произойдет чудо, и все превратятся в коммунистов. А разгадка одна — в «новой России» тогда наступил какбэ капитализм и обосрать его в мультфильме для подрастающего поколения было не труЪ.

Что весьма интересно и странно, было замечено неиллюзорное сходство между экранизированным господином Спрутсом и Виктором Степанычем Черномырдиным. Вглядитесь, одно лицо же!

Вместо компаньона Козлика, сопровождавшего Незнайку, пока тот пребывал на Луне, появилась журналистка Звездочка^[1]. Брюнетка-цундере, одетая в красное мини-платье, и озвученная Кристиной Орбакайте, создает эффект весьма недетской сексапильности. При этом уровень порнографических аллюзий, которые она вытворяла в ходе мультфильма, зашкаливает: это ставит под сомнение целесообразность показа мультика детям.

Городская легенда^/398[править]

Ходят упорные слухи, что Ельцын при своем вступлении в должность должен был поклясться соблюдать и защищать свеженаписанную Конституцию Российской Федерации, положив — хуй руку на эту самую Конституцию. Свеженаписанная конституция на поверку оказалась довольно узкой по площади брошюрой формата А5 (как методичка), и принимать присягу перед народом на чём-то столь невыразительном было немного некошерно. Единственной толстой книгой схожих параметров поблизости оказалась «Незнайка на Луне», купленная одним из телеоператоров для своих детей. Таким образом, Российская Федерация была окончательно оформлена клятвой на учебнике Носова «Как наебать капиталистических свиней для чайников» — и стало по сему.

Содержание томика практически соответствовало тому, что ожидало раcеянцев. Наиболее хитрые (Абрамович, Потанин и др.) быстро прочитали книгу и сообразили, что заработать фертинги (эквивалент WMZ) несложно, ибо Незнаек в стране много и все готовы работать за сосиску.

Алсо, школота уполномочена заявить: в учебниках истории за 11 класс («новейшая история» же) Ельцин таки держит руку на Конституции (свинцового оттенка) и из-под неё вылезает идентичная по высоте красная книга. И да, Конституция РФ имеет размер типичной методички или брошюры, ибо букв в ней не больше, чем в газете.

Алсо, farting в переводе с английского «пердёж». Правда есть ещё и английская монета farthing, она же ¼ пенни, которая, по-видимому, и имелась в виду.

Первый том про путешествие Незнайки и его друзей к кавайным лоли (в Зеленый город). Угодившие в малинник друзья ведут себя как рок-звезды на выезде, но тем не менее мирят однополые поселения Зеленый город/Змеёвку (в смысле, в одном только малышки, в другом только малыши)^[2] и возвращаются отрабатывать приобретенные социальные навыки на своих односельчанах.

В томике про Солнечный город Носов уже вплотную принялся за промывание мозгов подрастающему поколению. Наличествует идеализированный научный коммунизьм со всеми свистелками и перделками, которыми злоупотребляют социально чуждые элементы, едва не зафейлившие идею. Главными антагонистами и гопотой Носов, недолго думая, выставил горячо нелюбимых в то время стиляг. В книге в больших количествах присутствуют с одной стороны дома культуры, парки с шахматами, вундервафли и верные менты, с другой — «ослиная» мода на жёлтые штаны и музыка, халява, получение профита, развоз кавайной лоли и прожигающих жизнь «друзей» на тачке прямо с самого начала. Плюс, друзья-шофёры Коржик и Шутило, которые зачем-то живут в одной квартире вдвоём. Другие аналогии можно вывести, самостоятельно погуглив, либо почитав.

Неким Борисом Карловым также написаны два сиквела («Остров Голубой Звезды» и «Снова на Луне»), якобы следующих канону, но Википедии неизвестных. Качество их можно оценить по следующим цитатам:

Главный плохиш желает установить свою власть just for lulz. Чтобы отомстить, он хочет одеть всех в одинаковые одежды и заставить ходить строем — это вполне соответствует представлению либерастов о злобных большевиках, тоже just for lulz (или из мести за Александра Ульянова) захотевших сделать уравниловку. Читай, анон. Позже Карлов поменял имена героев: Незнайка => Карлуша, Пончик => Чек и т. д.

Также есть действительно неплохое продолжение Светланы Осеевой «Космические приключения Незнайки, Футика и других коротышек», где доступно раскрывается тема тоталитаризма без глумления над первоисточником. В роли плохишей здесь выступают Знайка и Пилюлькин, хотя в конце они исправляются. Доступно здесь

Игорь Носов тоже решился написать пару книг, первая из которых («Остров Незнайки») оказалась сборником весьма унылых рассказов, а вторая («Незнайка в Каменном городе») была посвящена теме экологии и немного напоминала мультфильм про Луну, но все же значительно уступала оригинальной трилогии.

Незнайка — это было открытием… Мир «коротышек», таких же детей, как и я, но живущих без взрослых, и у которых ТАКИЕ приключения… Это сейчас я понимаю, что вся «трилогия о Незнайке» является уникальной, редчайшей удачей современной детской сказки. А тогда я только с ужасом смотрел, как тают толстые книги. И впитывал все, что вложил туда автор. Когда я в первом классе объяснял учительнице, во сколько раз сила тяжести на Луне меньше земной — это был Незнайка. Когда я популярно объяснял ей же, что такое акции и акционерные общества — это была заслуга Носова. Вкладчики АО «МММ»! Ау! Вы не читали в детстве Незнайку? «Богачам-то прекрасно было известно, что все эти акционерные общества и компании устраиваются лишь для прикарманивания чужих денег, или, говоря проще, для облапошивания бедняков.» Приключения, характеры, знания, мораль — все было вложено в книгу, и так легко и органично — что ни одному ребенку и в голову не приходило, что его не просто развлекают, его учат… Вот почему я так люблю эту книгу. Вот почему у меня мороз проходил по спине, когда я натыкался в интернете на «продолжение» Незнайки некоего умельца из Питера… Но известие о том, что снят мультфильм о Незнайке на Луне я воспринял с радостью. И даже рекламная компания невиданного для России масштаба меня не насторожила. Наоборот, порадовала… умеют и наши рекламировать хорошие вещи! Я не ждал подвоха. Наверное, давно не перечитывал Носова. И Незнайка, спящий где-то в моей душе, только улыбался, глядя, как я с готовностью выкладываю шестьдесят фертингов за яркую коробочку…

Кстати, в другой книжке Николая Носова — «Незнайка на Луне» — полностью раскрыты все прелести демократического общества. На Луне живут капиталистические подонки, люди-коротышки там злы и коварны, полиция продажна, капиталисты жестоки. Контраст с коммунистическим бытом коротышек — чудовищный. Демократическое общество показано в такой красе, что книга осталась в памяти на всю жизнь. И, что характерно, не только у меня. Кстати, крайне важный момент: коротышки, постоянно предающиеся отдыху и развлечениям, неизбежно превращаются в баранов. Что мы, собственно, теперь вокруг себя и видим. Наши российские либеральные реформаторы — Егор Гайдар, например (он же мистер Понч) — все свои знания об устройстве капиталистического общества почерпнули именно из этой книги — настолько глубоким уровнем понимания обладает большинство из них. И реформы осуществлял строго по ней. А некоторые из его подручных-скуперфильдов, похоже, не читали даже этого, просто умело пользовались собственными фантазиями.

Честно признаться, автор этих строк в те безумные дни не потерял, в общем, ничего. И до сих пор свято уверен, что надежнейшую прививку от всех и всяческих «пирамид» получил еще в детстве, прочитав бессмертный роман Николая Носова «Незнайка на Луне», где подробнейшим образом излагается история одного такого дутого предприятия под названием «Общество гигантских растений». И ничего тут нет от шутки: я встречал многих серьезных людей, которые без улыбки признавались, что именно эта детская книжка их спасла от соблазна вложить хоть рублик во всевозможные «инвестиционные фонды» и прочие «Тибеты»… В общем, лично я за полгодика до обвала ухлопал все сбережения на «Мерседес» — и потом, именно в нем сидя неподалеку от одного из красноярских банков, с циничным удовольствием, каюсь, разглядывал толпившихся на его крыльце сотрудничков с безумными глазами. Еще вчера они были фигурами, как в анекдоте, а стали… Ага, вот именно.

При известном желании трилогию про Незнайку можно считать эдакой «Божественной комедией» от коммунистов. Действие первой книги происходит в «Чистилище» (Цветочный и Зеленый города, экономическая система неопределена, деньги не упоминаются, выглядит как «первобытный коммунизм»). Действие второй — в Раю (Солнечный город — отсылка к утопии «Город Солнца» Томазо Кампанеллы, коммунизм уже наступил, причем в точности по Марксу — благодаря развитию науки и техники). Действие третьей, то бишь сабжа — в Аду («дикий» капитализм, всеми правят деньги, богачи наёбывают лохов, государственные структуры подчиняются богачам, короче, выгляни в окно, %username%).

Менее замороченная версия — Носов попросту изложил учение Маркса для старшего детсадовского и младшего школьного возраста. Что, кстати, объясняет и казалось бы «невозможные» знания Носова о капитализме — во-первых, книги Маркса и Ленина как раз таки и посвящены были описанию и критике капитализма, во-вторых, о всех возможных проблемах капитализма активно писала советская пропаганда. Ну и в третьих — СССР был вовсе не так закрыт, как некоторые думают, в 1935-м (при Сталине, да-да) те же Ильф и Петров спокойно так разъезжали по США и потом написали книгу «Одноэтажная Америка».

И вообще, читайте — полную историю Носова. Откуда умерший в 1976-м Николай Николаевич мог знать, как жить в обществе, о котором он вообще не имел понятия (Карл Маркс и его ужасы про «Капитал»?).

ПО мелочам тоже возникают вопросы о TIME PARADOX. «Откуда, наконец, взялись резиновые дубинки со встроенными электрошокерами, их ведь в те годы просто не было на вооружении полиции — ни в западных странах, ни тем более у нас», например. Однако первая резиновая дубинка появилась в Америке в 1930-х годах.

Закономерный итог[править]

Текст Носова про полицейских из книги «Незнайка на Луне» пользуется популярностью, его часто цитируют в блогах, на сайтах и форумах. Но однажды в 2017 году администратору краснодарского паблика «Радикальные мечтатели» во «ВКонтакте» Михаилу Малахову позвонили из прокуратуры и вызвали на допрос: следователю поступил донос о наличии в постах Малахова экстремистских текстов. Речь шла о посте, в котором был скриншот из книги «Незнайка на Луне», в котором полицейских называют бандитами. В прокуратуре рассказали, что в ведомство поступило заявление с просьбой проверить этот пост: возможно он разжигает ненависть к социальной группе «полицейские» (статья 282 УК). Так ли это, определит лингвистическая экспертиза.

Помимо высеров разной степени удачности, есть классический вариант Г. О. Валька (позже взятый за основу мультипликаторами) 1965 года, который считается Ъ. Опознаётся легко, в первую очередь по Знайке, который должен сочетать в себе яйцеголовость с несколько неформальной причёской. Вариант использовался в изданиях на протяжении 20 лет. Примеры:

В предыдущей книжке, «Незнайка в Солнечном городе», показана критика общества потребления с неожиданной стороны — капризность и падкость на новое у общества одновременно.

Пример 1: из-за одного-единственного тролля, которому «мерещится, что по людям бегают божьи коровки», куча коротышек перестаёт брать одежду соответствующей раскраски — «не хотим, чтобы по нам божьи коровки бегали!»

FTGJ коротышки по книге «с небольшой огурец», то есть для них арбуз — двухэтажный дом из нямки. Соответственно, и божья коровка будет размером с кошку или хотя бы хорька.

Пример 2: мода на ветрогонов. Мода на то, чтобы быть как осёл. Превращение волшебной палочкой осла… трёх ослов в коротышек не просто породило трёх мудаков с широких штанах, но ВНЕЗАПНО успешно породило целую субкультуру быдлоповедения, ага-ага.

Пример 3: автобус в Солнечном городе нужен не для перемещения из точки А в точку Б, а для извлечения лулзов вроде стрельбы из воздушки в тире в задней части салона. Впрочем, это сказка, ей можно превращать скотовоз в пативэн.

1. ↑ Персонаж был взят из предыдущего романа Носова — «Незнайка в Солнечном городе». Звёздочка — имя певички, которая выступала на концерте, на который ходил Незнайка. А прототипом Звездочки является героиня Кнопочка (если читали книгу, поймёте, что и внешне, и по характеру, это та самая Кнопочка из книжки. Даже заключительный диалог Незнайки и Кнопочки/Звёздочки о любви и «глупых физиономиях» был вставлен в мультсериал именно оттуда).
2. ↑ Есть мнение, что Носов выстебал в двух враждующих поселениях реформу раздельного образования 1943 года, в итоге зафейленную.
