My week is quite busy. I am a pupil of the seventh class. I am always pressed for time. I take extra English, Russian and Algebra classes. I go to the gym four times a week. Besides, I am completely overloaded with my homework on weekdays.
During the week I have six lessons at school. I like studying but sometimes it’s very difficult to do all my tasks on time. After school a have a short break for lunch. After that, I go to the gym or the extra classes.
Sometimes I think that I haven’t enough free time. I see my friends not so often. We meet in the evenings when I have not so much homework. My friends are also very busy. Sometimes I spend my weekends with my friends. We roller-skate in the park, eat ice cream and enjoy ourselves.
On weekends I go to visit my grandparents who live in the country, but not so often. We go fishing with my grandfather and then I help my grandmother to cook freshly-made fish soup. I want to spend much time with my family. But I understand that education is very important, so I must pay attention to my classes.

Моя неделя довольно насыщенная. Я ученик седьмого класса. Я всегда ограничен во времени. Я беру дополнительные уроки английского, русского и алгебры. Я хожу в спортзал четыре раза в неделю. Кроме того, я полностью перегружен домашней работой в будние дни.
В течение недели у меня шесть уроков в школе. Мне нравится учиться, но иногда очень сложно выполнять все задания вовремя. После школы у меня небольшой перерыв на обед. После этого я иду в спортзал или на дополнительные занятия.
Иногда я думаю, что у меня недостаточно свободного времени. Я вижу своих друзей не так часто. Мы встречаемся по вечерам, когда у меня не так много домашней работы. Мои друзья тоже очень заняты. Иногда я провожу выходные с друзьями. Мы катаемся на роликах в парке, едим мороженое и веселимся.
По выходным я езжу к бабушке и дедушке, которые живут в деревне, но делаю это не часто. Мы идем на рыбалку с моим дедушкой, а потом я помогаю бабушке приготовить свежеприготовленный рыбный суп. Я хочу проводить много времени со своей семьей. Но я понимаю, что образование очень важно, поэтому я должен уделять внимание своим занятиям.

Days of the week (My plans)
My name is Dima. I am 10 years old and I live with my parents in a big city. Today I want to tell you about my plans for a week.
As I’m in the fourth form (grade), from Mondays through Friday I usually go to school. As a rule, on Monday I’m very reluctant to attend school because after idling about on weekends it’s too hard to start working again. So Monday is not an easy day for me due to Monday feeling that I often have.
On Tuesday I am very busy. After school I have to attend acting classes, after that I walk back home, have dinner and sit at my desk to do homework. It takes 1-2 hours to finish my homework. Afterwards I go to bed at 10 pm.
On Wednesdays I’m not as busy as on Tuesday. I don’t have any additional lessons according to my timetable. I am fully free. I can do whatever I want. On this day I often play football with my brother and go to the cinema.
Thursday is my favorite day of the week because I have two lessons of drawing and one English lesson at school. After school I also take Italian lessons at my tutor’s.
Concerning Friday, this day is the same as Tuesday. Everything repeats with one exception – I can put off homework till weekends.
Saturday and Sunday are the best days of the week. I always spend them with my family and friends.

Меня зовут Дима. Мне 10 лет и я живу с родителями в большом городе. Сегодня я хочу рассказать вам о моих планах на неделю.
Так как я учусь в четвертом классе, с понедельника по пятницу я обычно хожу в школу. Как правило, в понедельник я очень неохотно посещаю школу, потому что после безделья на выходных очень трудно снова приняться за работу. Поэтому понедельник не легкий день для меня из-за нежелания учиться, которое часто у меня возникает в этот день.
Во вторник я очень занят. После школы я должен идти на курсы актерского мастерства, затем я возвращаюсь домой пешком, обедаю и сажусь за стол делать уроки. Для того чтобы сделать домашнее задание, мне требуется 1-2 часа. После этого я ложусь спать в 10 часов вечера.
По средам я не так занят, как по вторникам. У меня нет никаких дополнительных занятий согласно моему расписанию. Я полностью свободен. Я могу делать все, что я захочу. В этот день я часто играю в футбол с братом и хожу в кино.
Четверг – это мой любимый день недели, потому что в школе у меня два урока рисования и один урок английского. После школы я также беру уроки итальянского языка у репетитора.
Что касается пятницы, то этот день точно такой же, как и вторник. Все повторяется, за исключением одного – я могу отложить домашнее задание на выходные.
Суббота и воскресенье – лучшие дни недели. Я всегда провожу их с семьей и друзьями.
MY WEEK-DAY
I get up at a quarter to seven. I jump out of bed, switch on the radio and do my morning exercises to the radio music. Then I go to the bathroom, wash myself and clean my teeth with a tooth-brush.
This does not take me much time, not more than ten or fifteen minutes. Then I dress and sit down at the table to have my breakfast. I usually have a cup of coffee or tea, one egg and bread and butter.
After breakfast I go to the Institute. As I live far away, I go by bus. My studies begin at 8.30. We have one lecture and two tutorials every day. At 11.20 we have lunch.
As I can not get home for lunch I take it at the students’ canteen. For lunch I have a cup of strong tea or coffee with a pie. At 1 p.m. my studies are over and I go home.
When I get home from the Institute, I have dinner. My dinner usually consists of three courses. For the first course I have some soup, then some meat or fish. For dessert I have stewed fruit or ice-cream.
After dinner I help my mother to wash up the dishes. Then I usually prepare for tutorials. This usually takes me about three hours.
At 8 p.m. I have supper. I have some salad, a slice of sausage and bread, sour milk.
In the evening I listen to the radio or watch TV. If the programme is not interesting I go to the cinema or chat with my parents. Sometimes I go for a walk with my friends. We talk about different things and usually have a good time.
At about 11 o’clock I go to bed.

Then he puts on his hat ant and jacket. Mr. Jenkins is a mailman, and he wears a uniform. At a quarter past eight he kisses his wife and children good-bye. But he is late this morning. The bus comes at twenty past eight. Mr. Jenkins hurries to the bus stop. He sees the bus. He runs and tries to catch the bus, but misses it. He waits for the next bus. He is late for work. It is raining and there is a puddle next to the bus stop. When the bus comes, it splashes Mr. Jenkins’s uniform. “Oh”, cries Mr. Jenkins, “What a day!” He crashes into the gate, chase a bus and miss it …. It’s the same every year when the snow comes.
