Эмма вернула жену Робина Гуда — Мэриан и разорвала отношения Реджины с ним. Вернётся ли Реджина к её старым злым методам и сделает всё, что в её силах? В продолжении сезона появятся новые персонажи, а старые знакомые будут пересмотрены. Но не всем можно доверять.
После поражения Ингрид, Анна, Кристофф и Эльза возвращаются в Эренделл. Однако Робин Гуд покинул город из-за заклятья, наложенного на его жену. The first season of the American ABC fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time premiered on October 23, 2011, and concluded on May 13, 2012. The series was created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The series’ first season centers around the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke, and the Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) plot to destroy everyone’s happiness so she can be the only one with a happy ending.
Once Upon a Time‘s first season received generally favorable reviews from critics who praised its cast, visuals, and twists on fairy tales, though some criticized its uneven tone.
The pilot episode was watched by 12.93 million viewers and achieved an adult 18-49 rating/share of 4.0/10.[1] Those numbers dipped late in the season to a series low of 8.36 million viewers and a 2.8/8 adult 18-49 rating/share in April 2012,[2] but rebounded slightly for the season finale with 9.66
million viewers and a 3.3/10 adult 18-49 rating/share.[3]
Premise[edit]
All of the classic fairy tales and other stories exist together in the same continuity, though many of the events played out slightly different to how the stories are told in our world. The structure of the show cuts back and forth between the events happening in the real world and the corresponding events that happened in the fairy tale world.
On the night of her 28th birthday, bail bonds collector Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is reunited with Henry Mills (Jared S. Gilmore)—the son she gave up for adoption ten years previous—who takes her back to his hometown of Storybrooke, Maine.
Henry possesses a large book of fairy tales, suspecting that Emma is the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), who sent her away so she would be protected from a powerful curse enacted by the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), a curse in which the queen is the only one with a happy ending. Because of the curse, everyone in Storybrooke is frozen in time with no memories of their former selves—except for the Queen, who is Storybrooke’s mayor and Henry’s adoptive mother, Regina Mills. Emma of course considers this theory to be completely outlandish and returns Henry home, but she still decides to remain in the New England town after becoming attached to him. This action causes the hands of the clock tower to move for the first time in 28 years. Henry also tells Emma that they are the only people who can leave Storybrooke, as others who try will suffer accidents.
In the fairy tale world, it is revealed that Snow and Charming, concerned for the safety of their unborn child, went to seek advice from the imprisoned trickster Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). In exchange for the child’s name, he told them their only hope was the child, who would return on her 28th birthday and begin «The Final Battle.» The child, an infant girl, is born on the day the Queen enacts her curse and is placed in a wardrobe carved out of an enchanted tree which takes the child to our world, where she grew up in the foster system, rebelled in her teen years, and ended up having Henry at 18.
In Storybrooke, Emma is soon elected as Sheriff following the sudden death of the previous Sheriff, Graham Humbert (Jamie Dornan), believed by Henry to be the Huntsman. Regina’s antagonistic attitude raises Emma’s suspicions and prompts her to move in with Henry’s teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, believed by Henry to be her mother, Snow White. Regina’s bitter rivalry with Storybrooke’s wealthiest resident, Mr. Gold, becomes heated when she learns he is still aware of his true identity as Rumplestiltskin. Mary Margaret falls in love with David Nolan, a coma patient who is really Prince Charming. David wakes up after she reads Henry’s fairytale book to him as a favor to Henry. David, however, is married to Kathryn Nolan, the woman who is (in the fairy tale world) his ex-fiancée Princess Abigail, daughter of King Midas. Unable to deny their love, David and Mary Margaret soon begin a secret relationship that becomes public and upsets Kathryn.
Kathryn eventually decides to go to Boston and let David be with Mary Margaret only to disappear before leaving Storybrooke. Sometime later, an antique jewelry box that belonged to Mary Margaret when she was a child is found buried near the old toll bridge and is revealed to contain a human heart, which is proven to be Kathryn’s via DNA testing. Mary Margaret is arrested for Kathryn’s supposed murder and hires Mr. Gold as her attorney. As Mary Margaret is about to be prosecuted by corrupt District Attorney Albert Spencer (Alan Dale). Kathryn is found alive in an alley. It is revealed that Regina and Mr. Gold plotted to frame Mary Margaret and force her out of Storybrooke, but Mr. Gold double-crossed Regina and let Kathryn go to exonerate Mary Margaret. When Daily Mirror chief editor Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito), previously the Magic Mirror, confesses to having abducted Kathryn to jump-start his career, Emma is not convinced. She concludes that Regina orchestrated the conspiracy and forced Sidney to «confess.»
Emma soon discovers that writer August W. Booth (Eion Bailey), who is the first stranger ever to arrive in town after she did, is from the Enchanted Forest as well: he is Pinocchio, who was sent to our world through the same wardrobe that brought Emma to watch over her.[4] He abandoned her out of fear and is slowly turning back into a wooden puppet as a result. Emma then attempts to take Henry out of Storybrooke forever but is then forced to reconsider when he refuses to go. She finally makes a deal with Regina, in which she agrees to leave but will still get to visit Henry on occasion.
Since Regina knows Emma’s true identity, however, she retrieves her poisoned apple (the same one she used on Snow White) to use on Emma in the form of an apple turnover. Henry, desperate to prove to Emma that the curse is real, takes a bite of the turnover and collapses to the floor unconscious. Emma, who now starts to believe after seeing flashbacks of her true past, is forced to ally with Regina to save Henry and retrieve Rumplestiltskin’s true love potion from Maleficent, imprisoned as a dragon underneath the Clock Tower. After slaying the dragon, Emma heads back to save Henry, but Mr. Gold intervenes and steals the potion, leaving Emma halfway up the elevator shaft and Regina tied to a chair and gagged.
When Henry is pronounced dead, Emma and Regina return to the hospital to say goodbye to his body. Emma kisses him on the forehead, causing a pulse of energy to engulf the entire town and restore everyone’s true memories while freeing Henry from the effects of the poisoned apple. Snow and Charming reunite with each other, and Regina returns to her mansion alone as Emma begins to wonder why no one is returning to the Other World since the curse is broken. Rumplestiltskin reunites with his true love Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and takes her to a Wishing Well deep in the heart of the forest, a well with the power to restore that which one had lost. Critical response[edit]
Rotten Tomatoes gave the season an approval rating of 80% based on 35 reviews, with an average rating of 6.06/10. The site’s critical consensus reads, «Charming and fantastical, Once Upon a Time is tonally uneven but derives strength from an outstanding cast and handsome visuals.»[24]
Metacritic gave it a score of 66 out of 100 based on 26 critics, indicating «generally favorable reviews».[25] Washington Post‘s Hank Stuever called the series «a smartly-crafted reward for fans of light fantasy, with the right mix of cleverness, action and romance.»[26] Verne Gay of Newsday said the series «glows with a near-theatrical shine, challenging viewers to think about TV drama as something other than boilerplate.»[27]
Several feminist outlets were pleased with the show for its feminist twist on fairy tales. Avital Norman Nathman of ##### stated that she liked the show for «infusing a feminist sensibility» into the stories.[28] Feministing‘s Genie Leslie commented that Emma was a «badass», that she liked how Emma was «very adamant that women be able to make their own decisions about their lives and their children», and how Emma was a «well-rounded» character who was «feminine, but not ‘girly'».[29] Natalie Wilson from Ms. praised the show for a strong, «kick-butt» female lead, for including multiple strong women who take turns doing the saving with the men, for subverting the fetishization of true love, and for dealing with the idea of what makes a mother in a more nuanced fashion. Wilson went on to state about the lead: «Her pursuit of a ‘happy ending’ is not about finding a man or going to a ball all gussied up, but about detective work, about building a relationship with her son Henry, and about seeking the ‘truth’ as to why time stands still in the corrupt Storybrooke world.[30]

Novelization[edit]
Once Upon a Time debuted a fantasy novel from Disney-owned Hyperion books. The novel, titled Reawakened, covers the first season and promises to give «fans of the show a whole new look at their favorite characters and stories.» The narrative is told from the points-of-view of Emma Swan in Storybrooke and Snow White in the Enchanted Forest. Written by Odette Beane, the novel was published on April 27, 2013 as an exclusive ebook and May 7, 2013 in paperback form.[55]

The first season of the American ABC fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time premiered on October 23, 2011, and concluded on May 13, 2012. The series was created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The series’ first season centers around the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke, and the Evil Queen’s (Lana Parrilla) plot to destroy everyone’s happiness so she can be the only one with a happy ending.
Once Upon a Time‘s first season received generally favorable reviews from critics who praised its cast, visuals, and twists on fairy tales, though some criticized its uneven tone.
The pilot episode was watched by 12.93 million viewers and achieved an adult 18-49 rating/share of 4.0/10.[1] Those numbers dipped late in the season to a series low of 8.36 million viewers and a 2.8/8 adult 18-49 rating/share in April 2012,[2] but rebounded slightly for the season finale with 9.66
million viewers and a 3.3/10 adult 18-49 rating/share.[3]
Premise[edit]
All of the classic fairy tales and other stories exist together in the same continuity, though many of the events played out slightly different to how the stories are told in our world. The structure of the show cuts back and forth between the events happening in the real world and the corresponding events that happened in the fairy tale world.
On the night of her 28th birthday, bail bonds collector Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is reunited with Henry Mills (Jared S. Gilmore)—the son she gave up for adoption ten years previous—who takes her back to his hometown of Storybrooke, Maine.
Henry possesses a large book of fairy tales, suspecting that Emma is the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), who sent her away so she would be protected from a powerful curse enacted by the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), a curse in which the queen is the only one with a happy ending. Because of the curse, everyone in Storybrooke is frozen in time with no memories of their former selves—except for the Queen, who is Storybrooke’s mayor and Henry’s adoptive mother, Regina Mills. Emma of course considers this theory to be completely outlandish and returns Henry home, but she still decides to remain in the New England town after becoming attached to him. This action causes the hands of the clock tower to move for the first time in 28 years. Henry also tells Emma that they are the only people who can leave Storybrooke, as others who try will suffer accidents.
In the fairy tale world, it is revealed that Snow and Charming, concerned for the safety of their unborn child, went to seek advice from the imprisoned trickster Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). In exchange for the child’s name, he told them their only hope was the child, who would return on her 28th birthday and begin «The Final Battle.» The child, an infant girl, is born on the day the Queen enacts her curse and is placed in a wardrobe carved out of an enchanted tree which takes the child to our world, where she grew up in the foster system, rebelled in her teen years, and ended up having Henry at 18.
In Storybrooke, Emma is soon elected as Sheriff following the sudden death of the previous Sheriff, Graham Humbert (Jamie Dornan), believed by Henry to be the Huntsman. Regina’s antagonistic attitude raises Emma’s suspicions and prompts her to move in with Henry’s teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, believed by Henry to be her mother, Snow White. Regina’s bitter rivalry with Storybrooke’s wealthiest resident, Mr. Gold, becomes heated when she learns he is still aware of his true identity as Rumplestiltskin. Mary Margaret falls in love with David Nolan, a coma patient who is really Prince Charming. David wakes up after she reads Henry’s fairytale book to him as a favor to Henry. David, however, is married to Kathryn Nolan, the woman who is (in the fairy tale world) his ex-fiancée Princess Abigail, daughter of King Midas. Unable to deny their love, David and Mary Margaret soon begin a secret relationship that becomes public and upsets Kathryn.
Kathryn eventually decides to go to Boston and let David be with Mary Margaret only to disappear before leaving Storybrooke. Sometime later, an antique jewelry box that belonged to Mary Margaret when she was a child is found buried near the old toll bridge and is revealed to contain a human heart, which is proven to be Kathryn’s via DNA testing. Mary Margaret is arrested for Kathryn’s supposed murder and hires Mr. Gold as her attorney. As Mary Margaret is about to be prosecuted by corrupt District Attorney Albert Spencer (Alan Dale). Kathryn is found alive in an alley. It is revealed that Regina and Mr. Gold plotted to frame Mary Margaret and force her out of Storybrooke, but Mr. Gold double-crossed Regina and let Kathryn go to exonerate Mary Margaret. When Daily Mirror chief editor Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito), previously the Magic Mirror, confesses to having abducted Kathryn to jump-start his career, Emma is not convinced. She concludes that Regina orchestrated the conspiracy and forced Sidney to «confess.»
Emma soon discovers that writer August W. Booth (Eion Bailey), who is the first stranger ever to arrive in town after she did, is from the Enchanted Forest as well: he is Pinocchio, who was sent to our world through the same wardrobe that brought Emma to watch over her.[4] He abandoned her out of fear and is slowly turning back into a wooden puppet as a result. Emma then attempts to take Henry out of Storybrooke forever but is then forced to reconsider when he refuses to go. She finally makes a deal with Regina, in which she agrees to leave but will still get to visit Henry on occasion.
Since Regina knows Emma’s true identity, however, she retrieves her poisoned apple (the same one she used on Snow White) to use on Emma in the form of an apple turnover. Henry, desperate to prove to Emma that the curse is real, takes a bite of the turnover and collapses to the floor unconscious. Emma, who now starts to believe after seeing flashbacks of her true past, is forced to ally with Regina to save Henry and retrieve Rumplestiltskin’s true love potion from Maleficent, imprisoned as a dragon underneath the Clock Tower. After slaying the dragon, Emma heads back to save Henry, but Mr. Gold intervenes and steals the potion, leaving Emma halfway up the elevator shaft and Regina tied to a chair and gagged.
When Henry is pronounced dead, Emma and Regina return to the hospital to say goodbye to his body. Emma kisses him on the forehead, causing a pulse of energy to engulf the entire town and restore everyone’s true memories while freeing Henry from the effects of the poisoned apple. Snow and Charming reunite with each other, and Regina returns to her mansion alone as Emma begins to wonder why no one is returning to the Other World since the curse is broken. Rumplestiltskin reunites with his true love Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and takes her to a Wishing Well deep in the heart of the forest, a well with the power to restore that which one had lost. He takes the potion and drops it into the well, causing a purple cloud to emerge and consume Storybrooke as the clock strikes 8:15.

Critical response[edit]
Rotten Tomatoes gave the season an approval rating of 80% based on 35 reviews, with an average rating of 6.06/10. The site’s critical consensus reads, «Charming and fantastical, Once Upon a Time is tonally uneven but derives strength from an outstanding cast and handsome visuals.»[24]
Metacritic gave it a score of 66 out of 100 based on 26 critics, indicating «generally favorable reviews».[25] Washington Post‘s Hank Stuever called the series «a smartly-crafted reward for fans of light fantasy, with the right mix of cleverness, action and romance.»[26] Verne Gay of Newsday said the series «glows with a near-theatrical shine, challenging viewers to think about TV drama as something other than boilerplate.»[27]
Several feminist outlets were pleased with the show for its feminist twist on fairy tales. Avital Norman Nathman of ##### stated that she liked the show for «infusing a feminist sensibility» into the stories.[28] Feministing‘s Genie Leslie commented that Emma was a «badass», that she liked how Emma was «very adamant that women be able to make their own decisions about their lives and their children», and how Emma was a «well-rounded» character who was «feminine, but not ‘girly'».[29] Natalie Wilson from Ms. praised the show for a strong, «kick-butt» female lead, for including multiple strong women who take turns doing the saving with the men, for subverting the fetishization of true love, and for dealing with the idea of what makes a mother in a more nuanced fashion. Wilson went on to state about the lead: «Her pursuit of a ‘happy ending’ is not about finding a man or going to a ball all gussied up, but about detective work, about building a relationship with her son Henry, and about seeking the ‘truth’ as to why time stands still in the corrupt Storybrooke world.[30]

Novelization[edit]
Once Upon a Time debuted a fantasy novel from Disney-owned Hyperion books. The novel, titled Reawakened, covers the first season and promises to give «fans of the show a whole new look at their favorite characters and stories.» The narrative is told from the points-of-view of Emma Swan in Storybrooke and Snow White in the Enchanted Forest. Written by Odette Beane, the novel was published on April 27, 2013 as an exclusive ebook and May 7, 2013 in paperback form.[55]

В день свадьбы Белоснежки (Джиннифер Гудвин) и Прекрасного Принца (Джошуа Даллас) Злая королева (Лана Паррия) приезжает в замок и угрожает страшным проклятием, которое она намерена наложить на них. Сюжет[править]
Этот сериал смело обыгрывает старинные европейские и восточные сказки, представляя привычных всем персонажей в совершенно новом и неожиданном свете. Абсолютное большинство сюжетных линий причудливо переплетены друг с другом, родственные связи перемешаны просто невообразимо, а интрига каждого сезона зашкаливает до пределов.
Началось всё с Тёмного заклятия, наложенного на Зачарованный лес Злой Королевой, знаменитой мачехой Белоснежки, в качестве долгожданной мести падчерице. Оно должно перенести жителей этого мира в другой, «без магии». Старый искусный столяр Джеппетто вместе с своим сыном Пиноккио сооружает волшебный шкаф, который может спасти двух человек. Одним из них становится сам Пиноккио, а второй — Эмма, новорождённая дочь Белоснежки и её мужа Дэвида по прозвищу Прекрасный принц. Согласно пророчеству мага Румпельштильцхена, после своего 28-го дня рождения она отыщет своих родителей и соотечественников и снимет со всех заклятие.
В наши дни в Бостоне одинокая женщина Эмма Свон работает поручителем и коллектором. Когда она задувает свечку на кексе в свой 28-й день рождения, на пороге её квартиры появляется десятилетний мальчик Генри с ошеломляющей новостью: он — её сын, оставленный вскоре после родов! Не желая иметь к жизни странного незнакомца отношения, Эмма соглашается отвезти его домой, в маленький городок Сторибрук. По пути тот демонстрирует ей книгу сказок, утверждая, что все герои её реальны. Спутница, настроенная скептически, возвращает Генри приёмной матери — местному мэру Реджине Миллс (настоящее имя той самой Злой Королевы). Однако по воле случая она решает задержаться на новом месте и начинает узнавать много необыкновенных тайн, связанных с ним, приобретая друзей и сближаясь с собственным отпрыском.
Дальнейшие сезоны построены по принципу «И что ни шаг, то новая беда иль новый враг». Дружная и сплочённая команда главных героев (Эмма, Реджина, Белоснежка, Дэвид, Генри, Румпельштильцхен, Белль и двое других, присоединившихся к ним по мере действий) усиленно борются с «внешним» или «внутренним» злом, спасают своих товарищей или родственников и всячески «приключаются». При этом каждый из них ищет свой хэппи-энд, а его, как известно, нужно заслужить…
Персонажи[править]
Эмма Свон – дочь Белоснежки и Дэвида (они же Прекрасные) и, как следствие, дитя Истинной любви. Относилась скептично ко всему сказочному на протяжении двух сезонов, но потом всё-таки поменяла своё мировоззрение. Бой-баба, не даст себя и близких в обиду. Очень любит родителей и сына, а позже — и Киллиана Джонса (Крюка), за которого вышла замуж.
Реджина Миллс — глубоко несчастная и трагическая личность по прозвищу Королева (правда, к этому недоброжелатели всегда прибавляют «Злая»). Она же мэр Сторибрука. В юности была очень доброй и благородной, покуда родная мать не разрушила её мечты, не убила любовь всей жизни и не поломала судьбу. Позже прославилась как могущественная колдунья и заклятый враг Белоснежки. Любит Генри и своего покойного жениха Дэниела, а также друзей.
Белоснежка (Мэри Маргарет Бланшар) — супруга Дэвида, мать Эммы и Нила. В Сторибруке стала учительницей младших классов. Добра, умна и решительна, умеет сострадать. На протяжении сорока лет она являлась объектом лютой ненависти Реджины, поскольку выдала её матери тайну, от которой зависела вся жизнь той. Любит свою семью.
Дэвид (Прекрасный принц) — муж Белоснежки, отец Эммы и Нила. Очень храбрый, справедливый и сильный человек. 28 лет пребывал в коме, но вернулся к жизни, а после падения заклятья вспомнил своё прошлое и воссоединился с женой, дочерью и внуком. Является де-юре шерифом Сторибрука. Любит приключения.
Генри Дэниел Миллс — родной сын Эммы и приёмный — Реджины. Делит двух матерей, безумно привязан к обеим и немало способствовал становлению их дружбы. Мудр и проницателен не по годам, к тому же принадлежит к крутому семейству. Обладает сердцем «Истинно Верующего», в 5-м сезоне становится новым Автором. Любит проворачивать всякие спецоперации, которым придумывает очень странные названия.
Румпельштильцхен (мистер Голд) — легендарный колдун неопределённого возраста, Тёмный страж. Невероятно хитрый, увёртливый, насмешливый пройдоха. Владеет уникальной лавкой с артефактами. Являлся «владельцем города», чтобы это ни значило, до 1-ой серии 6-го сезона. Любит сделки, магию и вообще власть едва ли не больше, чем родного сына и жену.
Белль — аристократка одной из стран Зачарованного леса. Ради прекращения войны с ограми пошла в служанки к Румпельштильцхену, в которого чуть позже влюбилась. Незадолго перед наложением заклятия её взяла в плен Реджина и продержала года два в башне, а потом 28 лет в сторибрукской психушке. Освободившись, вернулась к Тёмному и наладила дружбу с главными героями. Любит книги и супруга (несмотря ни на что).
Киллиан Джонс (капитан Крюк) — знаменитый пират и хозяин «Весёлого Роджера», давний враг Румпельштильцхена. Когда-то увёл у него первую жену Милу и через несколько лет лишился из-за этого руки. Жаждал мести по меньшей мере триста лет, но под влиянием разных событий отказался от неё. Начиная с 3-го сезона, стал полноправным членом основной команды. Любит Эмму и, конечно же, море.
Зелена Миллс (Великая Ведьма, Злая Ведьма Запада) — единоутробная старшая сестра Реджины, обладательница гениального таланта к магии. Полжизни завидовала Королеве за её, как она полагала, «счастье». Властная, циничная и хитрая фаталистка, беспредельно умная и коварная. Ближе к концу пятого сезона встала на путь исправления. Любит колдовство. И, для разнообразия, — сестру.

Руби Лукас (Красная Шапочка) — потомственный оборотень из крестьянской семьи. Слишком поздно научилась контролировать свою силу и оттого растерзала десятки людей. Вынуждена была носить красный плащ для сдерживания превращений. Является лучшей подругой Белоснежки, помогала ей скрываться во время розысков. В Сторибруке она работает официанткой в кафе собственной бабушки. Любит её и одновременно свободу.
Вдова Лукас (Бабушка) — собственно, бабушка Руби и владелица кафе, где происходит половина всех важных событий сериала. В родной деревне она славилась мужеством и отвагой, а также тем, что единственная выжила после нападения оборотня, ставшего её мужем. Имела дочь Аниту, выбравшую стезю волка. Великолепный следопыт благодаря нюху. Любит внучку и стрельбу из арбалета.
Робин Гуд — знаменитый лучник и благонамеренный вор, главарь шайки «Весёлых ребят». Имеет на запястье татуировку в виде льва. Любит сына Роланда и свой лук. И ещё Реджину (невзирая на то, что не являлся её Истинной любовью, по признанию самой Королевы).
Гномы (Ворчун, Чихун, Весельчак, Скромник, Простачок, Соня и Док) — прирождённые шахтёры из Зачарованного леса. Друзья семьи Прекрасных и задушевные приятели лично Белоснежки. Обожают свою работу.
Виктор Вэйл (Франкенштейн) — странноватый доктор из чёрно-белого мира, почему-то попавший в Сторибрук. Работает в местной больнице. Хирург, патологоанатом, акушер — три в одном флаконе. Любит покойного старшего брата Герхардта, которого пытался оживить, хотя и неудачно.
Арчи Хоппер — в Зачарованном лесу известен как Джимини Крикет, сын хозяев кукольного театра и по совместительству мошенников. Был он карманным вором, однако после обращения к Голубой фее превратился в сверчка. Давний друг столяра Джеппетто и совесть его сына Пиноккио. В Сторибруке стал успешным (и единственным) психотерапевтом.
Бэйлфаер — сын Румпельштильцхена и Милы, первый возлюбленный Эммы и отец Генри. В мире без магии промышлял угонами автомобилей и кражами. По воле Пиноккио невольно «подставил» Свон, не придя в условленное место с партией часов. Долгие годы был в разлуке с ней, хотя всегда её любил. Очень привязался к сыну и простил своего отца, но был косвенно сгублен Зеленой.
Кора Миллс (Королева Сердец) — мать Зелены и Реджины, очень сильная и коварная колдунья, по происхождению — дочь мельника. Одна из самых ужасных и зловещих личностей на родине. Ученица Румпельштильцхена, невероятно гордый, мстительный и умный стратег. Любит власть и вырывать сердца.
Генри Миллс-старший — отец Реджины и муж Коры, богатый и знатный вельможа. Несколько наивен, крайне великодушен и мудр. Служил впоследствии камердинером при собственной дочери и был тем, кто не давал ей скатиться во мрак окончательно. Любит её (даже в Загробном мире признался в этом).
Дэниел Колтер — истинная любовь и жених Реджины, умный и благородный конюх, работавший в поместье её родителей. Хотел сбежать вместе с ней и пожениться, но, увы, был подло убит своей же барыней, которой простодушная Белоснежка сдала с потрохами всю тайну влюблённых. Именно за его смерть Королева мстила падчерице столь жестоко, и не зря (поскольку не смогла разлюбить за весь сериал).
Ингрид (Снежная королева) — волшебница, умеющая повелевать снегом и льдом от рождения. Была заточена в сосуд, где пробыла по меньшей мере лет пятьдесят. Технически королевой никогда не была. Успела побывать приёмной матерью Эммы, раскрыв секрет её уникального дара. Наложила на Сторибрук Третье заклятие, но сама же и сняла его, ликвидировав себя. Любит своих сестёр, по которым тосковала всю жизнь.
Эльза — молодая правительница Эренделла, старшая племянница Ингрид и дочь покойной королевы Герды. Страдала неврозом из-за неумения владеть своими силами, аналогичными тем, что у её тёти, однако научилась контролировать их. Не подвластна действию Третьего заклятия. Любит младшую сестру Анну и всячески о ней заботится.
Анна — младшая сестра Эльзы, бойкая, смелая и остроумная (однажды одолела самого Тёмного мага) эренделльская принцесса. Истинная любовь и «хроническая» невеста Кристоффа, с которым наконец сочеталась браком лишь в конце 4-го сезона. Давно знакома с Дэвидом. Любит сестру и мужа.
Кристофф — ледоруб и воспитанник троллей, родом из Эренделла. Простоватый, честный, работящий парень, не обременённый излишним общением с людьми. Старинный знакомец и товарищ Прекрасных. Любит Анну и оленя Свена, неразлучного с ним.
И ещё дофига персонажей, которых перечисление слишком утомительно, чтобы приводить его здесь полностью.
