If this problem would be solved, my city on the whole is very beautiful and comfortable for living. It is full of large malls, cinemas, theatres, galleries and exhibitions. When I want to spend my weekend pleasantly I go with my friends to the city center to one of the pizza places or cinemas. Another good place for friendly party is a bowling alley. My favourite part of the city is Krasnaya Street. It is the oldest and the most beautiful central street of Krasnodar. Full of interesting monuments, alleys and sights it attracts thousands of tourists. The street is very convenient for evening and weekend walks as it’s partially closed. I should mention that Krasnodar is rather multinational. Many southern nations inhabit my home city, including the Russians, the Armenians, the Georgians, the Circassians, the Greeks, etc. That’s why there is a wide choice of restaurants with national cuisines. For those who visit the city for the first time I’d recommend to visit the Theater Square with splash fountains.	Должна отметить, что Краснодар довольно многонационален. Krasnodar is the administrative center of Krasnodar Krai, and is often called «the capital of Kuban» and the «South capital of Russia». Located on the banks of the Kuban river, a distance of 120-150 km from the Black and Azov seas. Krasnodar is the capital of Krasnodar Territory, SE European Russia, on the Kuban River. It is located to the east of the Black Sea. Krasnodar population is about 764,000 (2012), land area — 192 sq. km.

The city was founded in 1794 by Zaporozhe (Black Sea) Cossacks upon orders from Catherine II and it was their administrative centre and called Ekaterinodar (Yekaterinodar). For a long time it also served as a military centre and protected Russia’s Caucasian frontier. After the October Revolution, Yekaterinodar was renamed Krasnodar in 1920. In the first half of the 19th century Yekaterinodar became a busy center of the Kuban Cossacks.

Now Krasnodar is the administrative centre of Krasnodar region and is also an important transportation and transit juncture in the Southern Russia. The federal highway M4 “Don” runs across the city.
An international airport Pashkovsky is located in the eastern part of Krasnodar city. In the southern part of the city there is a freight river port on the river Kuban. Krasnodar is also a major industrial, agricultural, and cultural center in the south of Russia.

Two doggies and words from a playful poem by Vladimir Mayakovsky about Kranodar: «It not the dog’s wildness, it’s Dog’s capital» — «Capital Sobachkina» .

You can see this giant granitic purse near a Business Center — a really good place for it! You should sit on this funny monument to have more money.

This monument of two students reading a book is situated near Politechnical University and is dedicated to famous heroes of Gaiday comedy — Shurik and Lida.

A granitic «Monument of grief» in memory of victims of flood in Krymsk was opened on October, 4, 2012, in the Botanical garden of Kuban State Agricultural University. 165 people perished as a result of a disastrous flood on July, 6 and 7, 2012 in Krasnodar region. The opening ceremony of the monument was held within the framework of a visit of a Japanese delegation. Besides the victims of flood in Krymsk, the monument is devoted to people who perished in a terrible tsunami of March, 11, 2011, in Japan.

My native city is Krasnodar. It is the administrative center of Krasnodar region.

Krasnodar is a big city with population over 1 million and the number is constantly growing. What attracts people here is southern climate.
A lot of new buildings and even new blocks are being constructed around the city.

Krasnodar is a city of contrasts. Some districts are very modern and others look just like a village.

There are a lot of tourist attractions in Krasnodar such as hyperboloid tower, Krasnodar Circus, St. Catherine’s Cathedral or the beautiful concert hall of the Philharmonic Society. The most popular place is Krasnaya Street.

My favorite place in Krasnodar is a new park near the Krasnodar Stadium built by Sergey Galitskiy. It is very beautiful and modern. I like to ride bicycle there.

My second favorite place is Oz mall. It is the largest shopping mall in the south of Russia. There is a skating rink, a bowling center and many other entertainments there.

Our city has a serious problem: constant traffic jams. And I’m afraid things will only get worth as the number of citizens keeps growing and there is no subway.

I love my city. I think Krasnodar really is a great place to live.

Краснодарский край расположен на юге России. Здешний климат называется субтропическим, поэтому тут жаркое лето и мягкие зимы. Я не люблю холод, поэтому такой режим погоды мне по душе.

Еще у нас очень красивая природа. Недавно мы с родителями ездили на озеро Абрау-Дюрсо. На мой взгляд, оно не менее живописное, чем Байкал. Самым главным плюсом нашего края я считаю Черное море. Очень удобно жить в нескольких километрах от него. Летом тут много отдыхающих. Туризм неотъемлемая часть Краснодара.

Особенную гордость к родному краю я стал испытывать, когда узнал, сколько талантливый людей здесь родилось. Взять хотя бы Катю Огонек, известную исполнительницу русского шансона. Или же Булгакова Андрея Алексеевича, ветерана Великой Отечественной Войны. Мне кажется, этими людьми должен гордиться не только каждый житель нашей области, но и любой россиянин.

Я обожаю свой родной Краснодарский край. Для меня это лучшее место на земле.

I was born in Krasnodar Krai and I live here to this day. I very much like my native land therefore I with pleasure can tell about it.
Krasnodar Krai is located in the south of Russia. The local climate is called subtropical, therefore here hot summer and soft winters. I dont love cold, therefore such mode of weather to me to liking.
Still we have very beautiful nature. Recently we with parents went on the Abrau-Durso lake. In my opinion, it not less picturesque, than Baikal. I consider as the most important plus of our edge the Black Sea. It is very convenient to live in several kilometers from it. In the summer there are a lot of vacationers. Tourism an integral part of Krasnodar.
To the native land I began to test special pride when learned, how many talented people here was born. To take at least Katya Ogonek, the known performer of the Russian chanson. Or Bulgakov Andrey Alekseevich, veteran of the Great Patriotic War. It seems to me, of these people has to be proud not only each inhabitant of our area, but also any Russian.
I adore the native Krasnodar Krai. For me this best place on the earth.

Krasnodar Territory is My Motherland.

I was born in Krasnodar Territory and now I live here with my parents and my sister. The place of my living is the stanitsa of Suvorovskaya (n. the village of Suvorovskoe). It is not far from the town of Krasnodar. I would like to tell you some words about the foundation of Krasnodar.

This town was founded in 1793 by the Black Sea Cossacks. Firstly it was a fortress and it was named as the town of Ekaterinodar. Ekaterinodar means the present of Ekaterina II. Ekaterina II made a present of the Kuban Territories to the Black Sea Cossacks. This town (Ekaterinodar) was renamed as Krasnodar in 1920. Later all Kuban Territories was named as Krasnodar Territory, it was in 1937.

Krasnodar is situated on the south of the Russian Federation and occupies the territory of 76 000 square kilometers. It’s population is about more than 700 000 people. But the Statistical data of the Central Statistics Board is 1000 000 people. There are one million people because of the steam of the migrants from different regions of the Russian Federation and abroad. Mild climate and “reach” earth attracts the migrants. I think that the main reason of the people’s coming here is Krasnodar location. It is situated near the Ukraine and the Caucasus. There also are a lot of migrants from the North of our country.

Krasnodar is the main cultural centre, because there are a lot of Universities, 30 Museums, 8 Concert Halls and so on. It also has two main Federal Lines (Directions) – “Don” and “Caucasus”. There is one of the largest airport in Russia. It is called as Krasnodar Airport. The railway roads are connected with the South and the Central region of the Russian Federation.

In 2014 in the town of Sochi will be the Olympic Games. We are waiting these games and we are going to take part in it.
